Eligibility To Take Admission

Preamble
The Bachelor of Education programme generally known as (B.Ed) is a Two Year professional Course that prepares teachers for upper primary are middle level classes (VI -VIII) and Secondary level (IX-X) and Senior secondary level (XI-XII)

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to the B.Ed programme should be as prescribed by the NCTE, UGC & State Govt are as Follows….

1) Candidates with at least 50% Marks Either in Bachelor degree or Master degree in Science /Social Science/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation.

2) SC/ST/PH candidates with at least 45% Marks Either in Bachelor degree or Master degree in Science /Social Science/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation.

Duration
Duration of the B.Ed programme is Two Years of Four Semesters.
